AOC focuses on display technology and is known worldwide for its high quality monitors. AOC has a wide range of products that have all been developed for a separate purpose and therefore have their own unique features. In any case, they have one thing in common: The monitors are designed to give you a fantastic experience, regardless of the purpose for which you use it!
AOC is therefore known worldwide! Not only Europe is enthusiastic, also America and Russia! In total, these are no fewer than 16 countries, all of which are devoted to the experience of AOC monitors. And this experience should be reflected on the website, according to AOC. You probably guessed it .. this is where we come into the picture! The challenge for Doop consisted of building a new website, in which the experience of the product is reflected. AOC uses a Product Information Management system (PIM system) and the wish was therefore to link this to the Content Management System (CMS) of the website, so that updates in the PIM system are automatically implemented and become visible on the site. In addition, a clear division between home office monitors and game monitors was required and it was of course important that the website is available in 16 languages.
This process started with drinking a good cup of coffee with the customer, so that AOC could clearly express its wishes and Doop could indicate what can be achieved for the budget. When clear agreements have been made, we can really get started! Our designers were allowed to kick things off, by starting on the designs for the website. During this development, they had in mind the desire for a clear division between home office monitors and game monitors. When the designs were ready, a feedback session was first held with AOC. The designs shown were well received and AOC gave us the agreement to continue developing the website. Let's go!
The challenge for our developers consisted of the wide reach of the website. A solid server is needed to handle so many visitors from different locations. Especially on days like "Black Friday", when the website is flooded with visitors. In addition, each culture has its own needs, so the offer differs per country on the website. This requires a good link between the PIM system and the CMS!
A website with two faces! A fresh and sleek design for the home office monitors and a cool and mysterious design for the game monitors. Available in 16 languages and each with its own offer. Due to the link between the PIM system and the CMS of the website, updates are automatically transferred to the website and AOC does not have to worry about this. And are specific changes required for the website? Then AOC only has to scream and Doop will fix it!
