Personal data that we process

Doop processes your personal data because you use our services and / or because you provide them to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • E-mail address
  • Data about your use of our website (pages visited, clicks on phone and email links, device and browser details and your approximate location), only if you consent to analytics cookies

Special and / or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at info@wearedoop.com and we will delete this information.

Automated decision making

Doop does not make decisions about matters that can have (significant) consequences for people based on automated processing.

How long we keep personal data

Doop does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the goals for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Doop only provides to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement or to comply with a legal obligation.

Google is an exception: if you consent to analytics cookies, Google Ireland Limited processes the data about your website visit on our behalf (see Google Analytics 4 below). We have a data processing agreement with Google. Google may transfer this data to Google LLC in the United States, under the terms of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or other appropriate safeguards.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website can send to your browser, so it is stored on the system. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it.

Cookies expire after closing your browser (session cookie) or cookies in the browser (persistent cookies). For example, cookies allow you to identify your device by a session ID so that you can maintain access to our site. Cookies can also be used to store language settings or to analyze visitor behavior.

The cookies we use

Without your consent we only use cookies that are needed to make the website work. We only place analytics and marketing cookies if you consent to them in our cookie banner. Until then, Google Tag Manager is not loaded and no data is sent to Google.

Google Analytics 4

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager, to measure how visitors use our website and to analyze our performance. This helps us to improve the website, for example by ensuring that visitors can easily find what they are looking for. Among other things, we measure which pages you view, whether you click a phone or email link and that a contact form has been sent (without its content), together with technical details such as your device, browser, language and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We do not share this data for advertising purposes.

We do this on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). In Google Analytics we keep user data for a maximum of 14 months and event data for a maximum of 2 months. For this, Google Analytics places the following cookies, among others:

  • _ga: distinguishes visitors, retention up to 2 years
  • _ga_<container-id>: keeps the session state, retention up to 2 years

Change or withdraw your choice

We store your choice in your browser (not in a cookie). You can change or withdraw it at any time via 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies and reload the page.

Delete cookies

You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved via the settings of your browser. See for an explanation: veiliginternetten.nl.

If you consent to marketing cookies, cookies may also be placed on this website by third parties, such as advertisers and / or social media companies.

View, adjust or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You have the right to withdraw any consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you. To object

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. Doop will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks. Doop would also like to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. How we protect personal data

Doop takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
