Vogels is not only a well-known specialist in the Netherlands ... Vogels delivers throughout Europe! And that’s the reason Vogels came to us with the request for a Product Information Management (PIM) system, in which articles can be managed in multiple languages. For example, products can be distributed to various channels, including a link with their own webshop. A great issue in familiar territory, so let's get started!
First things first! setting up the PIM for Vogels. The starting points in this step were that, firstly, it had to be a well-organized system and secondly that in the future the system should be easy to manage by Vogels themselves. So when The starting points were taken into account and the PIM was fully set up, it was time for the next crucial step, namely filling the data. A job that was handled with great precision by our developers, because nothing is more annoying than a nice new system with polluted data. And then the last and most important step; realizing the actual link between the PIM system and the Vogels webshop. And so it began!
A well-functioning PIM system, with which Vogels can now manage its articles in multiple languages. Including the desired link with their own webshop, which shows which items can be displayed and ordered. Vogels can now work more efficiently and is future-proof for the time being! And oh keep that data tidy, will you? ;)
